LOCATION | Boyce Road, Jardine’s Lookout, Hong Kong

WORK TYPE | Residential Interior Fit Out

PROJECT SIZE | 970 sq ft

JLA was commissioned to help refurbish an apartment for a professional couple with their children. The challenge lies in designing a comfortable living environment which includes being able to convert the living room into two bedrooms for their children who will visit during boarding school holidays. It requires high amount of flexibility in a confined space made available.

The design uses light-coloured tones and natural materials to convey a neutral and comfortable living palette which really compliments the natural surrounding the apartment looks out to. Sufficient amount of mirror surfaces are used to help bring in the natural light as well as the mountain green from the exterior, encouraging a serene “outside-inside” living environment.

This project has been featured in Crave Magazine (April 2017) and Post Magazine (May 2017).
